Dementia Care 

Bluegrass is proud to have one of the first Dementia Care Specialists in Kentucky.

 

Dementia Care Specialists aim to assist individuals with dementia and their caregivers by assisting them in accessing programs and services designed to enhance the caregiver’s well-being and provide support for the person with dementia.

 

Available Services:

• Assessment

• Case Management

• Information and Referral

• Respite Care 

  • Offered in and outside of the home, as well as overnight)

• Education and Training

  • Support groups, workshops such as Dealing with Dementia and REACH Community

• Assistive Technology

  • Products designed for people with Alzheimer’s and Dementia and their caregivers
